The band played briliantly and the caller was fabulous, getting everyone up on the floor from the small children up to the grandparents, and running through the moves so we could get the idea of what we were supposed to do. The dancing was so much fun, not too complicated, yet we were all still completely useless, they had everyone in stitches.

So many of our guestscommented on how great the band were and how much they'd enjoyed the evening and the guys in the band really had fun playing for us.

Dear Paul

Thank you for making the evening of the wedding of our daughter Angharad to Tristan last weekend go with such a swing. Everyone said they had so much fun, and you all certainly helped that happen. We were definitley right to end on the high note of that last Strip the Willow. I stood and watched and everyone was dancing like maniacs. It was also great to see the really young ones let themselves go. Some of them had never been to a barn dance before but they’ve been telling me that they really enjoyed themselves.

News

A great evening at Gaby and Peter's wedding at the Wroxton House Hotel last weekend. Wow, what a send-off you guys gave them.

We may now reveal that the surprise birthday party in Sutton Courtenay was for June and was organised by Alice and Sarah with lots of help from close friends and family. June had absolutely no idea until she walked into the room packed with all her dearest from all corners of the world. A fantastic party that we really enjoyed. 

Now brushing off the old dinner suit for the annual Burns Night at the Sheepdrove Eco Conference Centre. It's one of our favourite venues in Berkshire and we always enjoy playing there. We are playing an accoustic set of Scottish tunes during the reception and music for some wild ceilidh dancing after dinner.  '

Still further ahead is the 'thank you' barn dance for the partners at our local supermarket following the major store refurb. We are so looking forward to meeting all our friends from the branch again and as you know 'We play like you play!'   (Love the new shop layout by the way.)
